Earthing jumpers, also known as flange earthing jumpers, grounding jumpers, bonding jumpers, and copper earth braids, are made from copper strips and copper wires, depending on the customer’s specific requirements.

In order to make flexible jumpers, copper wire is taken and then braided, twisted, or stranded as required by the customer. The flexible strip or rope is then crimped with copper lugs or ferrules at the ends. The cross-sectional area of the braid ranges from 2.5 sq. mm to 100 sq. mm in both strip and rope types.

The copper strips can be bent in a C shape or given in straight type as per the customer’s needs. The thickness of the strip depends on the customer’s needs and budget.

An earthing jumper is used to prevent the hazards caused by static electricity by passing the static current from the source to the earth.
