Copper laminated flexible are made from electrolytic grade copper foil. The copper foils are stacked together and by a special diffusion method solidified at the contact areas. There is no filler metal used to form the solid portion and the metal itself melts and forms homogeneous bonds. Thus, there is almost nil, millivolt drop in the connectors making it a perfect substitute of solid copper bus bar.

It is also possible to drill, saw, braze, mill & weld the contact areas of the connector without any problem. Laminated copper flexible connectors, copper laminated jumpers & copper laminated shunts are used to connect bus bars in Switchgear industries, Power plants, Caustic Soda, Chlorine plant using mercury Cell, Modular Cell , Membrane Cell, Diaphragm Cell, Hydro chloride Cell, Manganese Dioxide Cell and Cathodic Protection, Bus Ducts, Transformer, V.C.B., Resistance welding engineering, Electric Locomotives, Galvano Engineering, Furnaces etc. as expansion connectors to prevent damages by other parts of machines or switch gears and to take care of thermal and dynamic stresses caused by short circuit current in the system.
